Meet our Corps Officers!
Majors Julio & Karen Vasquez are the Tri-Cities Area Coordinators and Corps Officers.
They were ordained as ministers in 1989 in the Session "Ambassadors for Christ"
They come from the Southern California area, serving in the Southern California Division as Corps Officers at the Torrance Corps for the last three years.
Majors Julio and Karen have served as corps officers in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and Southern California.
They also, have served in Administrative Appointments in Rancho Palos Verdes, Southern California Division and Golden State/San Francisco Division.
They have four grown chlldren who are sutdying in Los Angeles Area and actively participate at the Torrance Corps, and are musicians in The Salvation Army Territorial Youth Brass Band and the Divisional Brass Band.
They are both fluent in Spanish and English, love the outdoors and enjoy afternoon walks by the Columbia River in Richland were they now reside.
