Meet our Pastoral Staff!!

Majors David P. and Deanna Sholin are the pastors and Corps Officers of the Mid-Columbia Corps in Richland, WA.

Major David, a native Californian, was ordained a Salvation Army officer in 1970. He first served in pastoral assignments in Great Falls and Havre,MT Yakima, WA; Redlands, Oxnard, and San Francisco, CA; and, Lewiston, ID.

Major Deanna, a Oregon native, was ordained a Salvation Army officer in 1978, and served in Bakersfiield, CA and Vancouver, WA before her marriage to Major Davidm in 1981.

After their marriage, they had Salvation Army church and administrative assignments in Tacoma, Washington; Ketchikan, and Juneau, Alaska.

For seven years, they were assigned to Headquarters appointments. Major David was a Finance Secretary, and Major Deanna was a Program Officer working with Youth Programs and Women's Services. Assignments were in Anchorage, Alaska (covering all of Alaska); Denver, CO (Intermountain Division: covering Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and Eastern Montana); San Francisco (Northern Calif./Nevada Division), and Los Angeles (Southern Calif. Division). They also served at the corporate headquaters (Territorial Hadquarters) in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.

Returning to pastoral work, the Sholins were Corps Officers in Yakima and Bellingham, WA with five year terms before arriving in Richland in July, 2007.
