Youth Drop-In Center

The Salvation Army Youth Drop-In Center helped over 100 children achieve success within education, self-esteem, & life for the 2005-2006 school year.

Our Youth Drop-In Center is located at The Salvation Army in Richland, 1219 Thayer Drive. It is open Monday-Friday from 2:30 - 5:00 PM. A safe place for children, 7-18 years of age, to do homework and play games (pool, foosball, ping pong, bumper pool, air hockey, and 10-computer lab).

The Salvation Army Youth Drop-In Center strives to improve each youth’s life by instilling self-esteem, courage, and positive values through all of our spiritual and educational programs. Our youth come to The Army to receive tutoring, homework assistance, computer training, sports, social recreation, education, mentoring, arts & crafts and so much more. The youth will gain confidence by developing a sense of usefulness, competence, and belonging. Thus, instilling spiritual values and involving them in Army Corps programs.
